Tea ceremony
Step into the world of Japanese tea culture and experience the mindful ritual of a traditional tea ceremony. You’ll learn about the meaning behind the ceremony, observe the graceful preparation, and enjoy a bowl of tea yourself. If possible we will use fresh herbs from the garden of Griftsteede. Come slow down, discover a Japanese tradition, and enjoy a moment of tranquility.
The ceremony will be guided by Sakurako, a Japanese exchange student that currently lives in Utrecht. She is happy to share her culture with you and looks forward to meeting new people. She will bring all the necessary equipment and ingredients for the ceremony.
